Examinations by written paper will take place on one occasion each year, normally in May.

All core and elective courses (except your project) are assessed by one unseen, 2 hour written examination.

The project is assessed by one unseen, 2 hour written examination and by submission of a dissertation. The final mark is based on both papers, with 80% of the mark based on your dissertation.
