• MUH is a mega-university of 200.000 students and 628 branches, the biggest private one in the world.

• In the countries were there are branches of MUH, as in Greece, the education is helped by satellite technology. MUH is the only Russian higher educational institution possessing satellite educational technology. This allows the university the opportunity to provide distance learning resources to every geographic destination in the Russian Federation and in a number of Asian and European countries. MUH possesses satellite educational television with its own teleport for twenty-four-hour, four-channel broadcasting throughout the territory of Russia and the CIS countries. These four channels are also used for data transmission. It is a goal of the university to equip all MUH branches with VSAT-teleports, in order to allow high-quality broadcasting and educational processes between branches and the university's Moscow headquarters. Utilization of video, audio and slide lectures, teaching computer programs and other multimedia products is the primary method of education at MUH. The majority of multimedia educational material is produced by MUH staff in studios equipped with modern computer and recording facilities.
• The foundation is a member of many international organizations like UNESCO International Association of Universities (IAU), International Association of Private Universities, European Association for International Education (EAIE), International Association for Distance Education, European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), Global Development Learning Network (the World Bank Initiative) etc.

• MUH was accredited by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre for the UK. Students has graduated education in MUH have a right to get the NARIC certificate together with MUH’s diploma.
• In 2003 MUH officially joined to the Bologna Process.
• In 2005 on the Summit of the Global Network of Mega Universities (GMU-Net) in Deli (India) MUH joined to the commonwealth of the largest universities in the world as a founder-member. The main criteria of joining to GMU-Net except the quality of education is a minimum of 100,000 studied students. As perspectives in the frameworks of this project is development of one educational dimension of the largest higher educational institution in the world.
